These Disclaimers explain important limitations and disclosures about LegalHub’s services, content, and relationships. They supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2) No Attorney–Client Relationship

Using LegalHub does not create an attorney–client relationship with LegalHub or any attorney listed on the Service. An attorney–client relationship is formed only when you and an attorney agree to such relationship in writing or as otherwise recognized by applicable law, outside of the LegalHub platform.

3) Independent Attorneys & No Endorsement

Attorneys and law firms appearing on LegalHub are independent, third-party professionals who do not work for or represent LegalHub. LegalHub does not endorse, recommend, or warrant any attorney or law firm, nor do we evaluate whether any attorney is appropriate for your needs. Listings, badges, and reputation indicators are informational and may reflect user activity, profile completeness, or paid enhancements.

4) Attorney Advertising Notice

Some jurisdictions require specific notices for attorney marketing. This website may be considered attorney advertising. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Images may include models and are for illustrative purposes only. Attorneys are responsible for ensuring that their profile content and advertisements comply with all applicable laws and professional rules (e.g., state bar advertising rules).

Statements about case results, awards, or testimonials are presented for informational purposes and do not guarantee any specific outcome in your matter. Every case is different and turns on its own facts and applicable law.

6) Rankings, Reviews & Paid Placements

  • Rankings & Placement. Search results and placement may consider relevance, geography, user preferences, profile completeness, engagement, and paid features.
  • Reviews & Endorsements. Reviews reflect the opinions of the reviewers and not LegalHub. We may moderate reviews for policy compliance, but we do not guarantee authenticity or accuracy.
  • No Undisclosed Superiority Claims. Comparative claims (e.g., “best,” “top-rated”) are limited to user feedback or platform metrics and do not represent LegalHub’s endorsement.

7) Compensation & Financial Disclosures (FTC)

LegalHub may receive compensation from attorneys or firms for premium profiles, advertising, lead delivery, or other promotional services. Paid placements may affect visibility and placement on the Service. We disclose sponsored content or ads where required. 8) Information Accuracy & Timeliness

We strive for accuracy but do not warrant that information on LegalHub is current, complete, or error-free. Attorney licenses, contact information, and practice details can change without notice. You are responsible for verifying credentials and suitability before hiring an attorney.

9) User Posts, Q&A & Public Submissions

Content posted by users (including questions, answers, comments, and reviews) is the sole responsibility of the person who posted it. Such content does not represent LegalHub’s views and is provided “as-is.” Do not share private, confidential, or sensitive information in public areas of the Service.

10) AI, Automation & Editorial Processes

LegalHub may use automated tools—including rule-based systems and machine-learning models—to assist with search ranking, attorney matching, safety checks (spam/fraud detection), and content formatting. Outputs may be incomplete or contain errors. Automated outputs are informational only and are not legal advice. Where appropriate, we incorporate human review, but you should independently verify any material facts before relying on them.

11) Jurisdictional Limits & Licensing

Legal practice is regulated at the state level. Attorneys may only practice in jurisdictions where they are admitted. Users must ensure that communications and engagements are appropriate for their jurisdiction. LegalHub is not a law firm, does not practice law, and does not supervise attorneys’ work.

12) Confidentiality & Sensitive Information

Submitting information through LegalHub does not, by itself, create any duty of confidentiality on LegalHub. Do not submit confidential or privileged information through public features (e.g., Q&A). For private intake forms and messages, information may be shared with attorneys you choose to contact. Do not include Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or other highly sensitive data unless specifically requested by an attorney via secure means.

13) No Medical/Financial Advice; No HIPAA Hosting

Unless expressly stated, content on LegalHub is not medical, mental health, investment, or tax advice. LegalHub is not a HIPAA-compliant service and does not intend to receive or store Protected Health Information (PHI). Do not submit PHI to LegalHub.

14) Third-Party Links, Tools & Integrations

LegalHub may link to or integrate third-party sites, tools, and services (e.g., payments, analytics, scheduling, communications). We do not control or endorse third-party services and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms and privacy policies.

15) Texts, Calls & Recordings

By providing contact information, you consent to receive communications from LegalHub and, where applicable, participating attorneys, including emails, texts (SMS/MMS), and calls, which may use autodialers or prerecorded messages, consistent with our Privacy Policy. Message/data rates may apply. Some customer support interactions may be recorded where permitted by law.

16) Security & Availability

We employ safeguards designed to protect the Service and user information; however, no system is perfectly secure or available without interruption. We do not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted service, and we are not responsible for loss of data, delays, or service failures outside our reasonable control.

17) Intellectual Property & Trademarks

All non-user content on LegalHub, including designs, logos, and software, is owned by LegalHub or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. “LegalHub” and related marks are trademarks of LegalHub Operating Company LLC. Third-party names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

18) Updates to These Disclaimers

We may update these Disclaimers from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (e.g., by posting the updated Disclaimers or emailing you). Changes are effective when posted unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect indicates acceptance.
